Description
MC June is a slam poet from Quebec, used to public performances and school presentations. His performative poetry juggles existential questionings that teenagers face every day: life, death, love, family, etc. Some of the themes he explores are particularly difficult and dark: prostitution, violence, drug addiction. Others are sweet and light and spoken with kindness and humour: video games, puns, paternity. MC June, or Normand Delinelle (his real name), captures the complexity of a teenager’s world in words. Le corps de l’ombre is sure to make an impression.
