George Fischer is a gifted photographer whose unique style has been recognized around the world. He is well known for his iconic images and spectacular landscapes. George has provided editorial and promotional photography for tourist boards and international tour operators. His work has appeared on the covers of magazines and newspapers worldwide as well as websites and ad campaigns of hundreds of companies. In addition, George Fischer’s international photographic career over the past 30 years has resulted in the production of over 70 photographic books and a global collection of over 50 art posters. He is also known for his unique art prints commissioned by various companies, hospitals and private collections – and for working with the tourism boards of Canada, France, Italy, Jordan, Guatemala, Cuba, the Maldives, Malta, Faroe Islands, the United States and numerous others.
George continues to capture impactful imagery as an avid outdoor adventurer. Among his journeys, he has hiked to Machu Picchu in Peru, biked the ‘world’s most dangerous road’ in Bolivia, summited Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Gokyo Ri in the Himalayas, Torres del Paine in Chile and hiked in Iceland to raise funds for the Arthritis Society. His home is in Toronto, Canada.
