Sara Beanlands
Sara Beanlands is an archaeologist and historian. Her research has been published in the Journal of the Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society, the International Journal of Maritime History and the University of Edinburgh Journal. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Anthropology at Saint Mary's University and president of the Royal Nova Scotia Historical Society.

Travis Crowell
Travis Crowell is an archaeologist and historical researcher with an M.A. in archaeology from Simon Fraser University. His work has taken him across Canada, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific, and back again. He currently resides in Dartmouth with his wife.
