This new collection contains two complete books of her early poetry as originally published: Song of Eskasoni 1989 and L’nu and Indians We’re Called 2011. Her first book, Poems of Rita Joe, was published in 1978 and is available with new and selected poems in We Are the Dreamers?Recent and Early Poetry 1999. The rest of Rita’s poetry is in The Blind Man’s Eyes 2015. All of these books, along with her powerful autobiography called Song of Rita Joe, are available through Nimbus Publishing and from her publisher Breton Books.
