Every Little Thing

How Small Acts of Kindness Make a Big Impact

  Author:   Janice Landry
  Publisher:  Pottersfield Press

Author Janice Landry was diagnosed with Lyme disease during the summer of 2023. Following her recovery from debilitating illness, Landry realized that a small thing, a tiny tick, has had a big impact on her life. She has turned her health scare into a positive message for readers. The author has deliberately woven the theme of small versus big throughout heartwarming stories of connection and acts of kindness, some random, some deliberate. In an exclusive interview, Every Little Thing introduces us to the son of beloved and world-renowned children’s author the late Richard Scarry, whose little character, Lowly Worm, was a big favourite of Janice’s. Every Little Thing includes tributes to helpers, artisans, nurses, teachers, students, psychologists, first responders, accessibility advocates, disaster relief helpers, and volunteers. Landry takes us on a journey that proves in the end that the little things really are the big things.
