Lindsay Marshall

Lindsay Marshall is former chief of Potlotek First Nation – known in English Nova Scotia for many years as Chapel Island – on the shores of the storied Bras d’Or Lake, Cape Breton. He is presently manager of Potlotek Band Council. A frequent contributor of poetry for important celebrations, Lindsay has composed for, and read before, Queen Elizabeth II. His first book of poetry, Clay Pots and Bones (1997), will be re-released by CBU Press in spring, 2014.
