Carol Corbin, PhD, has taught interpersonal communication and cultural approaches to communication at Cape Breton University since 1991.

Erna MacLeod has a PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her research interests include cultural studies and media theory. She is currently Associate Dean, Research and Graduate Studies at Cape Breton University. Erna lives near Louisbourg, NS.
