Josephine Watson is a poet, singer and actor from Fredericton, NB. From jazz to blues, rock to reggae, spoken word poetry to theatre, Josephine is a great performer. She was the first woman to be named Moncton’s “poète flyée” (eccentric poet). After translating the book Africvillle (written by Shauntay Grant and illustrated by Eva Campbell) in 2020 and guiding many young people through it, she delivers this magnificent text, which comes from her personal history.
