The Blackhurst Cultural Centre is delighted to present the launch of Black Activist, Black Scientist, Black Icon: The autobiography of Dr. Howard D. McCurdy by George Elliott Clarke, 2:00 p.m.
This is the long-overdue autobiography of one of Canada’s most influential Black politicians and activists, so please join us along with co-author of the book, celebrated poet George Elliott Clarke, for a very special launch in honour and celebration of the late Dr. McCurdy.
Event is free and open to the public, please, spread the word and invite your friends. Light refreshments will be served.
