François Thisdale lives in Carignan, near Montréal. His pictorial universe mixes traditional techniques and digital imagery. He has received numerous prizes and awards. He is the illustrator of Missing Nimâmâ (2021, Scholastic Canada), which won the TD Award. The picture book That Squeak (2015, Fitzhenry & Whiteside) received an honourable mention for the IBBY Elisabeth Mrazik Cleaver Award and Le bourlingueur de Matungua (2022, Les Éditions La Presse) was recently nominated for the Governor General’s Award.
