"This commemorative volume, showcasing Queens County through archival photographs, is a vivid and delightful way (and one of the strongest methods) of conveying local history. It's so important to keep this knowledge alive." —Ruth Holmes Whitehead, ONS, author of The Old Man Told Us

KEEPER
"A picture is, indeed, worth a thousand words. The breadth and depth of the images in this work do justice to those who came before us and whose cumulative effort is enjoyed by today's residents. This book is a 'keeper' by every measure." —Hon. John G. Leefe DCL, author of Atlantic Privateers
