Scott J. Mandel was born and raised in Oceanside and lives in Long Beach, NY, where he served on the city council for a decade. As president of the city council, he was instrumental in the rebuilding of Long Beach?s iconic Boardwalk after its destruction from Super Storm Sandy. He is an attorney and holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law.
